What RDC Calculator is

RDC Calculator is a paired private communication app presented through a working calculator interface. The calculator and password protect access to the communication area. The app's private communication functionality is disclosed during setup and in the Google Play listing.

Data used for core features

• Pairing, recovery and availability: Firebase anonymous authentication, pair membership records, and a one-way hashed device/app recovery identifier are used to create, join, and restore a pair. RDC may also store the availability choice, last-seen timestamps, and limited reachability/presence evidence needed to show paired communication status to the paired partner.
• Chat: messages, reactions, delivery state, call history, and user-selected shared items are stored in Firebase for the paired conversation.
• Media and files: photos, videos, documents, and voice messages selected by the user are uploaded to Firebase Cloud Storage for delivery to the paired partner.
• Contacts: RDC does not request full contacts permission. If the user chooses Contact in Chat, Android's system picker is used and only the selected contact name/number is sent as the user-selected chat item.
• Location: the Google Play version accesses location only when the user chooses Share Location. The selected current location is sent to the paired partner and stored as a chat item. The Play version does not continuously track location in the background.
• Calls: audio/video call media is transmitted using WebRTC and may use a TURN relay when direct connectivity is unavailable. RDC does not intentionally record or store call audio/video on its backend.

Service providers and diagnostics

RDC uses Google/Firebase services including Firebase Authentication, Realtime Database, Cloud Storage, Cloud Messaging, Cloud Functions, App Check/Play Integrity, Google Analytics, and Firebase Crashlytics. Analytics is used for aggregate product usage and Crashlytics/Firebase Sessions for crash, session, and reliability diagnostics. RDC's custom telemetry is designed not to include pair codes, Firebase UIDs, message text, filenames, contact data, precise location, FCM/App Check tokens, TURN credentials, or WebRTC SDP/ICE strings. Advertising ID collection and ad-personalization signals are disabled in the app.

Sharing and sale

User-selected communication data is shared with the paired partner. Google/Firebase processes data as a service provider to operate RDC. RDC does not sell personal data and does not use user data for advertising.

Retention and deletion

Conversation data remains on the backend until deleted according to the app's conversation/pair controls or removed under applicable service retention. Chat provides a permanent conversation-history deletion action. RDC does not provide a user-facing account; Firebase anonymous authentication is used as a backend identity. Uninstalling the app by itself may not delete server-side conversation data already shared with a pair. For privacy or deletion requests, contact the developer using the privacy contact above.

Security

RDC uses encrypted network connections and Firebase authorization rules intended to restrict pair data to authenticated pair members. Google/Firebase services provide additional encryption and security controls. No method of electronic transmission or storage can guarantee absolute security.

Children

RDC is not designed as a children's app. The Google Play target audience and content rating must accurately reflect the final store listing and intended audience.

This policy may be updated when RDC's features, service providers, or data practices change. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are published.
